"When I landed in Hong Kong 18 months ago , I had been searching for an authentic Indian food . Tried few earlier and once I found Basmati 印度皇 बास्मती, We stopped the search. Nowadays this place is the weekend spot for our family and 3 times a week for me as my office is close to the area. "Basmati 印度皇 बास्मती Indian Restaurant is a popular Indian Restaurant in Sheung Wan that has been here for years. There are often parties held there because the venue is good. I have been here countless time for lunch and dinner. During the day, there is a buffet where you can try everything. On the a la carte menu, the aloo chops are highly recommended. Their Ras Malai is not as sweet compared to other restaurants."👍👍👍👍

"I was so excited to see “Manchurian” on the menu because I RARELY come across Indian restaurants In HK offering this item. Due to the pandemic, I didn’t get to visit India so I was craving this EXTRA. I am so happy that it didn’t disappoint, as it had a kick of spice in its sauce without being overpowering and the portion was HUGE. The portion is similar to a main dish haha. The paneer momos were so soft and the filling had onions which were crunchy, creating a balance of textures. The sauce was also delicious as it had spices and especially a hint of turmeric? The butter chicken was so creamy and good but a bit more on the sweeter side, maybe because we chose “gentle spice”. Would love to try it with a little bit more of a kick. The mango lassi is a classic refreshing drink especially during the heat, the perfect companion for this meal and this hot day. Great service and staff too :)"👍👍👍👍

"今日嚟到上環一間親民的印度菜館,位置於一樓,店內的裝潢充滿印度的色彩,地方亦相當寬敞,加上正宗印度的特色菜,相當有地道風味。新鮮生蠔 估唔到喺印度菜館都可以食到新鮮生蠔!胡椒脆片、雜菜咖喱角、炸雜菜 餐廳附送餐前小食,配上特色醬汁。牛油雞配印度烤餅 印度菜必食的牛油雞,濃郁的咖喱醬汁,滿滿牛油香,入口順滑,雞肉是燒烤過的,還有香口的感覺,配上超大塊的印度烤餅。燒醬雞 利用熱騰騰的鐵板盛著的燒醬雞,雞肉調味惹味,唔會太辣,雞肉口感又嫩又滑。咖喱炒雜菜 多款雜豆、雜菜加入咖喱炒香,雜菜索滿香濃的咖喱汁。印度皇飯 炒至非常乾身的印度皇飯,建議配上咖喱炒雜菜或牛油雞醬汁。米布甸非常特別的一款甜品,有點像白飯版本的西米露。Mango Lassi印度地道的特飲芒果酸奶,唔會太甜酸酸地,芒果味香甜。."👍👍👍👍

"今日佛誕好忙,忙到兩點半先食第一餐,同男朋友入左間印度餐廳食。 炸米餅配薄荷汁 第一次食呢個印度小食,入面包住既應該係薯蓉,仲有啲香料,外面係脆口既,越食越辣,幾特別。 香燒春雞 有兩隻雞腿同雞胸,雞肉幾嫩滑,啖啖肉,幾好食。 印式燴羊肉 唔辣架,羊肉都唔羶,亦唔鞋唔韌。 芝士烤餅 烤餅煙煙韌韌,包住勁多芝士,十分邪惡。 印式咸煎餅 口感鬆軟,我覺得單食可以,蘸印式燴羊肉既汁食都得。 飲品飲左椰青、青檸梳打、芒果酸奶同凍咖啡。👍👍👍👍👍
